2,000 m² indoor play area at the Kinderhotel
Younger guests will find plenty of space to climb and burn off energy in our soft play area that stretches over 2 floors and in our huge gymnasium. This provides space to run around and play games, or just to let off steam and make as much noise as possible.
In our cinema and theatre, we provide entertainment every evening with shows, discos, films and plays both for and with our guests. Children can race around the go-kart track or send balls whizzing down the family bowling alley (child-friendly sizes, naturally). The games arena in the two-storey lobby with its distinctive toadstools is extremely popular and our ride-on animals gallop with manes flying. Around every corner children and their parents are surprised by our play areas, e.g. a climbing wall in a tunnel, a chilled play corner in front of our Baby Club, and a play den in the restaurant area.
5,000 m² of outdoor play areas at our family hotel
Children can let off steam on our adventure ropes course next to the creative outdoor play area ‘Murmel’s Water World’ or simply hang out in the hammock or on the swings. We toast stick-bread around the campfire at our wooded party area and you’ll be given your war paint at the teepee next to the Totem Pole.
Our four-legged friends are visited every day, at the rabbit villa and the stables of our alpacas, Puschkin, Peppina and Balu, Emil the donkey and our miniature ponies, Max and Moritz. Our family of goats made up of Bärli and Schwänli, and their children Prinz Poldi, Sissi and Lissi love to climb their Rapunzel goat tower. The evening stables visit with keeper Martin is our daily meeting point for all animal lovers and where you can get up close and personal with the animals. Children love to jump around on our giant bouncy castle and trampolines.
During the colder months, our toboggan run provides lots of winter fun, we tell Eskimo stories in our igloo and our flood-lit enchanted forest is magical.
Water Fun for the Whole Family
Younger children will feel more at home in our ‘Splashing around the Farm’ indoor pool. They can splash around in the 35°C water while the tractor slide and water-spouting farm animals guarantee big smiles and laughter. Our large indoor pool and infinity outdoor pools provide both fun and exercise while our warm giant whirlpool is best suited to simply float around.
Parents can relax in the sauna area or switch off from everyday life in the spa with a massage and cosmetics. Our Kinderhotel, with its swimming pools, has everything you could ever need, regardless of your age.

Baby Club
Childcare for ages 0–0.9 years
At the Baby Club, even the youngest children feel completely at ease. Babies as young as 7 days old receive loving care and attention. With great sensitivity, our caregivers respond to each baby’s individual needs and provide them with a sense of security, peace, and attention.
Miniclub
Childcare for children ages 3 to 5.9
Here at the Oberjoch FAMILUX Resort, a vacation for the whole family is a breeze. While the indoor play area and outdoor playground invite parents and children to explore together, our coaches at the Mini Club look forward to welcoming the little ones every day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tired kids perk right up during morning dance with me, Murmel Marvin, and we wrap up the day together with an evening dance!
Adventure Club
Childcare for children ages 6 to 9.9
Here, vacations with kids are a win-win for everyone. That’s because the kids can spend hours here learning new things and developing their talents through sports and games. Whether it’s billiards, table tennis, soccer, or an adventure-filled hike through the woods, there’s always plenty going on every day.
Professional baby and child care
We offer creative and exciting programmes of arts and craft, and play activities to suit all ages in light-filled rooms. Indoor and outdoor, around the hotel as well as out on excursions, children can embark on new adventures and experiences. Our motivated children’s coaches are on hand to take good care of your children 7 days / 90 hours a week, daily from 8:30 to 21:00.
Children are welcome to take part in our Stammtisch every day in the morning and evening. When the weather is nice we like to go outside to enjoy the fresh, healthy Oberjoch air. Our staff undergo regular training at our Kinderhotel academy to ensure the highest quality childcare.
